Since the 19th century, it has been mixed with hydrated or hydraulic limes to improve the durability of decorative and repair mortars. Because it meets climatic constraints, it is also used to accelerate the setting of lime mortar in cold weather.
PROMPT Natural Cement, formulated at the same dosage as limes, exhibits properties similar to them, thanks to its characteristics of porosity, water absorption, module of elasticity, and water vapor permeability, with the additional advantage of limited shrinkage compared to lime mortars.
