History
The "small fort," known as the bastion, is located at the tip of the old town between the two bays of Menton and was built at the behest of the Prince of Monaco in 1618.

To restore the entire facades of the bastion, the first step involved removing the existing 500 m² of plaster and joints down to the stone masonry.

Il a été utilisé dans deux étapes différentes des travaux :
- La première étape consistait à utiliser le ciment naturel en l'associant à la chaux. En mélangeant le ciment naturel PROMPT avec de la chaux, cela permet une meilleure durabilité en ambiance marine et en milieux agressifs.
- La seconde étape a nécessité le ciment naturel en pâte pure. Ses qualités de prise rapide et de durabilité ont permis de rejointoyer les fondations de l'église.
