The TEMANO® drilled anchoring system offers an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional deadweight anchors. Designed for marine environments, it delivers unit resistances of up to 20 tonnes while minimizing seabed impact. It is widely used for installing pontoons and mooring areas in protected marine zones such as natural parks and Natura 2000 sites.
Project
TEMANO selected PROMPT natural cement for its rapid setting properties and 100% natural origin. This unique anchoring technique ensures high mechanical performance while safeguarding marine biodiversity.
Installation of TEMANO® drilled anchors at sea involves the use of a tripod that suspends the drilling mast via a universal joint. This articulation maintains perfect vertical alignment even on uneven seabeds. Once the target depth is reached, a high-pressure grout injection made with PROMPT natural cement is applied.
Restoration steps
The injected grout rises from the bottom of the borehole to the surface. The roughness of the borehole walls, combined with the specific threading on the steel rod, creates a highly resistant bond. Resistance is proportional to the drilled depth and the geological hardness of the seabed layers.
PROMPT natural cement is selected for its: very rapid setting, 100% natural composition, high technical performance, especially in wet and marine environments
Pull-out resistance using TEMANO® drilled anchors ranges from 2 to 20 tonnes, depending on seabed characteristics.
